In the south of the Region, in one of the most remarkable parts of the area, La Virgen de los Ríos viewing point situated at the shrine of the same name (Shrine to Our Lady of the Rivers) is well worth a visit. From here you can see the pre-Pyrenean mountains of the Sierra de San Juan de la Peña and Monte Oroel and beyond the Pyrenees.

To get here take the N330 from Sabiánigo going towards Huesca, and at Hostal de Ipiés take the turn-off for Caldearenas. Before you get to Aquilué take the trail on the right, signposted for La Virgen de los Ríos. You can drive or park the car and walk; the viewing point is just before you get to the Shrine.
